Northern Trust Names Senior Lending Officer For Lee, Collier Counties

Chicago-based Northern Trust has appointed Naples, FL-based Steven Arbogast as senior lending officer for the firm’s Lee and Collier regions - a role he previously held for the firm’s Fort Lauderdale clientele.

Arbogast will be responsible for managing commercial and residential lending for Northern Trust’s offices throughout Lee and Collier counties, reporting to John Fumagalli, president and chief executive of Florida’s western region.

Prior to his seven-year post as senior lending officer for Fort Lauderdale, Arbogast served clients at the bank’s Palm Beach and Martin County office. He initially joined Northern Trust in 1992 as a vice president and private banking officer in Boca Raton.

In August, the firm made a promotion for the high net worth athletes segment. Norman Greenidge was named national director of the firm's professional athlete group - a role in which he will focus on meeting the unique wealth management needs of this client segment.

Earlier the same month, Tony Glickman was hired as senior vice president of global client solutions - a new position created to develop global solutions for clients including hedge funds, traditional asset managers and large institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds. 

Northern Trust has $175.9 billion in assets under management, as at June 30. The firm has over 70 offices across the US and abroad.
